If I was Voldemort I would choose my Horcruxes wisely.
Let’s have a look at the originals and see where it went wrong:
Cup (good, but doesn’t seem to do anything)
Locket (again good, but doesn’t have any powers of its own)
Ring (easy to conceal, has a curse on it. Also a hallow, but he didn’t know that)
Snake (gives him a loyal minion, but snakes age and die)
Diary (genius! Easily the best of them)
Diadem (good, gives you wisdom, but had no protections)
Really Voldemort!?
The first Horcrux I would make is Ginny Weasley. It will be very hard for Harry as he always loved her. He would neva kill his Girl friend would he?
Good luck destroying this Horcrux Harreyh. MuHaHaHa!
2) A rock that I will then throw somewhere in the middle of the ocean. Good luck finding it and good luck getting there to destroy it. And even if you do have one of those submarines that can go proper deep, how will you get the rock inside? Don't you dare underestimate the power of a common lord!
3) A random mosquito. It's possible to turn animals into horcruxes because Voldemort did it with his snake. Now, good luck picking the one mosquito with a piece of my soul in it.
4) An random star in the sky
YoU aRe An AsTrOnAuT HaRrEyH! Pretty sure Harry would have trouble trying to get to space to destroy this horcrux.
5) An atom. Or even better, a quark. How is anyone going to destroy it if you can’t even see it? Literally chuck it anywhere.
6) A Nokia 3310: The strongest thing on the planet!!
